In an extraordinary display of God's power, as our people prayed and fasted, a door opened for us that will enable us to have a home base in Sanford. This past Tuesday, we signed a lease for 4500 square feet of space at the Sanford Plaza. This location is a strategic location in the city that will afford us the opportunity to be a people of blessing and a church FOR the city. Our projection is to begin meeting there in November. Though much work needs to be done, we will begin meeting there once our nursery and toddler rooms are completed. Thank you Sent Church for your continued faithfulness to the Lord and his mandate that we be "a church FOR the city". We are called to be a church that seeks the flourishing of our city. (Jeremiah 29:7)

Thank you Sent Church family for the amazing way you displayed the heart of Jesus in caring for John and Gloria's family last weekend during John's Celebration of Life service. The family kept expressing over and over again, "these people are so real!" "We've never seen a church serve this way!"

Yesterday morning we received the news that our dear brother John Terruso passed away. This coming Sunday, instead of our normal weekend service, we will be participating in John's Celebration of Life Service in Orange City. This is an opportunity for our church family to pour out love, service and support to Gloria and other family members that are coming. Please come and support this beloved family in their time of need. Please note there will be no Sunday service at Celebration Church. Yesterday morning we received the news that our dear brother John Terruso passed away. Our church family had been praying for his recovery for a few months and we stood in faith believing that John would be healed. In the end, God saw fit to receive John into glory where he is no longer suffering or in pain but beholding the face of his Savior.
