DAN MASTRAPA

Dan, originally from Queens, NY, encountered Jesus in his teenage years after his family relocated to Longwood, Florida. He immediately developed a passion for Christ and the Scriptures. Dan worked bi-vocationally for many years while serving as youth and associate pastor of a hispanic congregation in Central Florida. Dan has a cultivated love for Christ's Church and loves to work both IN and ON the church. In 2009, Dan resigned from the church he was serving in as Executive Pastor to follow the vision the Lord gave him to prepare a "sent" people. Sent Church was born out of that desire to see a community of Christ followers, live Gospel centered lives and partner with Jesus in His mission.

Dan married the love of his life, Bethza and they have a young, seven-year old worshipper, Arielle. Dan and Betha celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2011.

Dan loves sci-fi, heavy metal, action flicks, and is a voracious reader.
